Geek-Art x Dotemu
As part of the 2023 Utopiales in Nantes, Geek-Art was entrusted with curating a mini-exhibition on the making of selected video games. Behind every title lies the talent of numerous artists, character designers, and concept artists. The aim of this exhibition was to give visitors a “behind-the-scenes” look at the creative process — exploring how a level, an environment, or a character is visually conceived and developed.
In collaboration with Dotemu, the French studio behind acclaimed remakes of cult classics such as Streets of Rage 4, Windjammers, and Ninja Gaiden, Geek-Art had the opportunity to showcase the work of several talents who contributed to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. This game blends the very best of 90s arcade and beat’em up classics with modern gameplay, delivering pure enjoyment for Turtles fans.
Au menu de cette mini-expo : des character designs tout en pixels, ainsi que des concept arts de certains niveaux du jeu, accompagnés de notes des créateurs pour mieux comprendre les choix artistiques et visuels autour du jeu.
