Behaviour Interactive commissioned Geek-Art to find an artist to create the official key visual for the official Netflix Stranger Things Chapter 2 DLC for the game Dead by Daylight. The visual had to be a tribute to 1980s movie posters, and I was lucky enough to find the perfect gem for this project: Julien Vergé. This French painter works on canvas using oil paint.
Julien happens to be a huge Stranger Things fan himself, and his enthusiasm for the project was immediate. He was able to highlight the two new playable characters in the DLC—Dustin and Eleven—as well as Eddie and Robin’s skins, with of course, as the Killer, Vecna himself!
Having witnessed every step of this painting’s creation, I can only bow to Julien’s talent and dedication. He worked tirelessly in his studio on this exceptional illustration, which radiates ’80s vibes and a true love for the genre. Huge congratulations to him, and a big thank-you to the teams at Behaviour for this wonderful opportunity!
