Art Print Geek-Art x Caurette x Delcourt

Geek-Art, in partnership with Caurette Editions — France’s leading artbook publisher — regularly collaborates on the creation of limited-edition art prints for collectors and enthusiasts.

Sold for a limited time exclusively through Caurette’s online store, Liber Distri, these prints are numbered, signed, and accompanied by certificates of authenticity.

Available to both the general public and specialty bookstores, each edition is printed on premium fine art paper by a Bordeaux-based printer specializing in luxury production.

This Bolchoi Arena art print, signed by its creator Aseyn, is the result of an official collaboration with Delcourt Editions.

A few words about the graphic novel Bolchoi Arena

This three-volume series has made a lasting impact on the graphic novel landscape in recent years. Written by Boulet, its compelling storyline blends space adventure with a thought-provoking exploration of video game worlds and the virtualization of reality. Illustrated by Aseyn, the work captivates readers with stunning pages reminiscent of the artistry of Moebius or Otomo.

Notably, the series has been shortlisted twice in the official selection of the Angoulême International Comics Festival.

That approach lets me break down different facets of an idea, explore various angles, and play with the shape and arrangement of the panels so they echo the theme itself — a continuation of the concept through a specific layout, where the reading direction can be multidirectional.

In this case, the top strip, with panels shaped like crescent moons and then planets, is meant to convey speed and progression through space. To fit the requested format, I added a mirrored strip underneath, showing the main characters.
