Geek-Art x Warner x DC Comics
Geek-Art partnered with Warner Bros. and DC Comics to celebrate the 75th anniversary of one of the most iconic figures in the history of comics. In collaboration with a Paris-based gallery, numerous artists from the U.S. poster art scene, as well as prominent French illustrators, were commissioned to bring the masked vigilante to life. Most of these limited-edition prints, primarily screen prints, were produced under official Warner Bros. and/or DC Comics licenses — whether depicting characters from the Batman mythology, artwork inspired by his numerous film adaptations, or reinterpretations of some of his most iconic comic book covers.
These numbered editions were showcased during dedicated exhibitions in Paris and made available for online purchase. Artists were selected not only for their distinctive graphic styles and established reputations, but also for their ability to deliver truly one-of-a-kind tributes to Batman — celebrating the hero himself, his allies, and his foes alike.
All artworks created for this project have been compiled into a special Geek-Art artbook, From Gotham to Metropolis, published by Huginn & Muninn, featuring detailed commentary on each piece and each artist.
